Beach A

Beach A, also known as Sam Son Beach, is situated in the coastal borough of Sầm Sơn, in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam. It has been a notable tourist spot since the early 20th century and is characterized by its scenic beauty, comprising of clean, blue water, flat and gentle sandbanks, and a stretch of over 16 kilometers. The beach is known for its unique and enjoyable atmosphere, further amplified by the sound of waves and wind.

One of the main attractions of Beach A is the availability of several bathing areas. These areas provide amenities such as deckchairs, umbrellas, and safelocks for rent, enhancing the convenience for visitors. However, it is important to note that the cleanliness of the beach may vary, with some instances of the beach being reported as quite dirty.

The beach is not typically overcrowded, especially during the mornings, offering a more relaxed environment for early visitors. Beach A is also known for its local seafood, including shrimp, crab, and fish, which visitors can try. In addition, it is a great place to purchase souvenirs.

Apart from the beach, nearby attractions include the Truong Le Mountain range. Co Giai Islet, a part of this mountain range, houses a small pagoda named "Doc Cuoc" or "One Leg," associated with a legend about a giant who defeated a sea monster and protected the sea. Another feature is the "Trong Mai" rock, which consists of two large boulders on a flat rock, symbolizing a passionate husband and wife who were transformed into birds as per a local story.
