Adelianos Kampos Beach is situated 6 km east of the city of Rethymnon in the region of Adele, on the island of Crete, Greece. Once a small village, it has grown and developed to become an extension of the city. The beach is known for its large expanse of sand stretching towards Skalete.
The beach's natural characteristics include a combination of sand and pebbles, some areas featuring a pebble bottom while others are sandy. Entry into the water can be challenging due to the presence of underwater rocks and gaps between them, necessitating the use of water shoes for safety. Approximately 2 meters from the shore, there is a leveled rock 'platform' which is around 1.5-1.7m deep. The sea is generally shallow but can have frequent waves, similar to other open beaches in northern Crete. It is noteworthy to mention that the beach is a nesting site for sea turtles, and these areas are protected and marked with ropes and signs.
