Megali Beach, located nearby, offers more vibrant activities and amenities. Agios Ioannis Beach is secluded and lacks tourist infrastructure; visitors should bring everything they need. The ideal time to visit Greece for a beach vacation is at the end of spring to the beginning of summer or in September to October.
