Almonta Beach

From the northern car park, visitors can access the beach by descending a set of stairs. However, the journey from the car park to the beach can be slightly tedious for some, as it involves walking over sand dunes. The drive from the sealed road to the car park is rocky, so caution is advised when driving a normal 2WD vehicle. In terms of amenities, there are public toilets located at the parking spot above the beach. The beach is also great for long walks, with some rocks on the northern end that are good to walk through. However, it's worth noting that the waves can be quite strong, so visitors are advised to be careful when swimming. The beach is also a popular spot for line fishing. Despite its natural beauty, Almonta Beach is not always crowded, making it a peaceful spot for those looking to enjoy nature at its best.
