Amitis Beach

Amitis Beach is a beautiful and calm beach located 20 minutes driving distance from the center of Naxos. The beach is characterized by its clean water and is not typically crowded. It is a bit out of the way and can be a challenge to get to, but the tranquility of the location makes it worth the effort. The beach features beautiful sand and sea, with a natural sandy landscape. However, there is a stripe of pebbles that visitors must cross when walking into the sea. There are also some seaweeds present, but they do not detract from the overall beauty of the beach. Amitis Beach is long and wild, making it a great place to spend a few hours, especially for those waiting for the sunset. The beach has big waves and little stones at the water's edge, making it a bit challenging to swim. The wind at the beach is not typically strong. The beach does not have sunbeds or natural shade, so visitors are advised to bring their own umbrella, water, and food. There are Toitoi toilets available in quite good shape. Despite its wild nature and the challenge to get there, Amitis Beach is a great place for a short stay.
