Anzacs Beach

Anzacs Beach is a notable surf beach located on Philip Island. It is characterized by its large expanse of white sand, with stunning views of blue mountains in the distance surrounding the vast ocean. From the car park, visitors can find a footpath leading to the beach and further to the colonnades. However, visitors are advised to be cautious as there is no lifesaving service available at the beach. In addition to the beach itself, the surrounding area offers opportunities for longer walks. For instance, the nearby Woolamai Surf Beach and Philip Island Nature Park provide a scenic 12km walk. Visitors planning to explore these areas are advised to allocate more than three hours for the trip and to be aware of the presence of snakes. Despite its popularity, Anzacs Beach manages to maintain a peaceful atmosphere, with enough space for everyone. However, the beach can get chilly, especially when the wind is blowing and as the sun sets.
