Avlaki Beach

Avlaki Beach is a secluded, unorganized pebble beach located on the island of Paxos. The beach is known for its azure blue waters and interesting rock formations, including sea caves to the south that can be explored by swimming or kayaking. The beach is accessible via a rocky dirt road, which some visitors choose to walk the last portion of to avoid potential damage to their vehicles. There is ample space for parking at the end of the road for those who choose to drive all the way. The beach is not typically crowded, providing a quiet and peaceful environment for visitors. It is more of a place for swimming and exploring the coast rather than sunbathing due to its rocky nature. The beach is also a popular spot for snorkeling, thanks to its shallow waters. However, visitors are advised to wear swim shoes due to the presence of sea urchins.
