Aydıncık Plajı

Aydıncık Plajı, also known as Petrada Imbros, is a notable beach situated on the island of Gokceada in Çanakkale. The beach is located 16 km away from the town of Aydıncık and is accessible via a ferry ride from Eceabat, a journey that takes approximately 90 minutes. The beach is known for its fine sand and smooth entry into the water, with a length of approximately 1 km. However, visitors should exercise caution as there may be unseen stones in the cloudy water. Despite this, the beach is suitable for swimming and relaxing, with the sea not being too deep, approximately human height 70m from the beach side. Aydıncık Plajı is also popular for water sports, particularly windsurfing, due to the frequent wind conditions. Despite this, the beach does not tend to feel crowded, especially for those who venture further towards the dunes. The beach offers a range of amenities including sunbeds and umbrellas for hire. Refreshments can also be ordered, although English may not be widely spoken. The facilities are considered better than average and the prices are not too high. There is ample parking available, particularly near the salt lake. Some of the rooms at the beach have balconies, allowing guests to start their day with breakfast in the garden, accompanied by a beautiful view. The beach is also a short 9-minute walk from Kaleköy Limanı.
