Baan Kai Beach

Baan Kai Beach, located in Koh Phangan, Thailand, is a well-liked beach that stretches four kilometres in length, making it the longest beach on the island. The southern part of the beach offers an undisturbed natural setting, while the centre and north of the beach are popular party destinations for young people. The beach is easily accessible and situated directly behind the main road. Water-sport enthusiasts can enjoy kitesurfing, stand-up paddling, and kayaking, with a small surfing school located in the middle of the beach. From April onwards, swimming may not be very pleasant due to extreme tides, but the beach is suitable for families with children and is also a nudist beach. Amenities on the beach include toilets, showers, loungers, bars, and restaurants. This beach is ideal for those seeking a lively summer experience, and dogs are permitted on the beach. A parking area is also available.
