Visitors should be aware that there is no lifeguard supervision at Badestrand Gunneby, and unfortunately, the beach is not accessible for people with disabilities. Access to the water is via a stony path, so visitors should take this into consideration when planning their visit.

For those planning to drive to the beach, there are free parking spaces available. However, the parking lot is relatively small and might be filled quickly during the summer months. To reach the beach, one should take a left at the traffic lights after Tjörn Bridge onto road 169 towards Rönnäng. After approximately 8 km, turn left at the sign for Ridshop 1 and follow the gravel road for about 2 km to the parking lot. From there, it is about 100 meters to the beach. Alternatively, the beach is also accessible by bus, with the nearest stop being Gunneby.

Despite its proximity to local residences and its array of amenities, Badestrand Gunneby is rarely crowded. This allows visitors to enjoy a tranquil beach experience, away from the hustle and bustle of more popular beaches.
