Bahia de Pollensa is a beach situated in the Bay of Alcúdia in northern Majorca. It extends for approximately two kilometers alongside the road that connects Alcúdia and Port de Pollença, and is a narrow beach that is close to the road.
Due to regulations protecting the beach and the Posidonia Oceanica species, large areas of dried seaweed cannot be removed. The beach is also home to the charadrius, a protected species of bird that nests on the ground.
Although few bathers visit the beach because of its proximity to the road and seaweed, it is a popular destination for kitesurfers and windsurfers due to its ideal conditions for beginners and moderate waves. The beach is divided into three sections, and surf schools and equipment rental services are available. Bahia de Pollensa is considered the best surfing spot in northern Majorca.
