Despite this, the area offers an open ocean view and a picturesque view of Anfi del Mar. The area is not typically used for sunbathing due to its rocky nature, but it does feature some interesting rock formations in the sea. The area is accessible via a route from the Marina Elite Hotel, which is the only route to Anfi beach that avoids the highway. This route is described as a fun and interesting walk during the day, but it can be challenging at night due to the lack of lighting in the area. The path is rocky and it's recommended to use a mobile phone torch for visibility and to have company for safety. The route includes a sandy yet hard surface, stairs, and two short tunnels. One of the tunnels features colorful wall climbing holds, while the other appears to be occupied by homeless people. For those staying at the Marina Elite Hotel, a lift is available that goes all the way down to the seaside. There are no local shops or bars in the immediate vicinity of Playa de Balito. Despite its current state, the area is seen as having great potential for development into a beach.
