It is recommended to ask for directions at the parking house to ensure the correct path is taken.
The journey to the beach involves a walk through the forest that can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the pace. The forest is home to a variety of insects, so mosquito repellent is advised. The trail can be difficult and tiring, so it is important to bring plenty of water for the trip.
Once at the beach, visitors are greeted with a picturesque view. The beach is flanked by two streams, which are clear and beautiful. Following the larger stream upstream leads to a series of lovely pools and small waterfalls. However, the ocean may not be as clear as some photos suggest, particularly during certain times of the year such as January.
The beach is a popular spot for camping, although carrying camping gear through the forest can be a challenge. Despite the effort, many find the experience worthwhile. It is advised not to return through the forest at night due to safety concerns. Instead, camping overnight is a popular choice.
While the beach is generally clean, there can be some rubbish at the high tide mark. Visitors are encouraged to help keep the beach clean by packing out what they bring in.
