Beach de Bertheaume

Beach de Bertheaume is situated in the province of Plougonvelin, approximately 25 kilometers west of Brest, France. This picturesque beach features a combination of sandy stretches and rocky outcrops, with a pontoon available for boaters, jet-skiers, and other water sports enthusiasts. The beach was aptly named after the Fort de Bertheaume, which has stood overlooking the sea strait since the 17th century. Today, visitors can enjoy zip lining and other exhilarating activities at the fort. Lifeguards oversee the beach, which is ideal for families with children and offers wheelchair accessibility. The facilities are minimal, consisting only of restrooms and a parking area.
