Bouka Beach

Bouka Beach is a picturesque beach destination located within the Municipal Unit of Lefkimmi. The beach is renowned for its pristine, sandy shores and clear, tranquil waters which make it an ideal place for a variety of activities such as swimming and sunbathing. The shallow waters extend for about 50-60m from the shore, with a depth of no more than 1-1.5m, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for children and those who prefer a peaceful beach experience. This also allows for the presence of a variety of marine life, including crabs and small fish, and visitors may also find beautiful shells along the shore. The beach offers a range of amenities for visitors' convenience, including sunbeds, parasols, toilets, and changing facilities. A beach bar is also available, although its operation hours may vary. Despite its popularity, the beach tends to be quiet, particularly during the early hours of the day. However, visitors are advised to be mindful of the occasional presence of red jellyfish in the area.
