Buljarica Beach

Buljarica Beach is a significant tourist attraction located on the coast of Montenegro, within the Buljarica Bay. It is recognized as one of the largest beaches on the Budva Riviera, extending approximately 2250 meters between Resovo Hill and Dubovica Hill.

The beach is primarily made up of gravel and its surrounding landscape, including the Buljarica field and the slopes of Dubovica Hill, creates an ideal environment for various forms of tourism. The natural characteristics of the beach are further highlighted by its shallow, rocky waters, which are abundant with marine life, making it a perfect spot for activities such as snorkeling and kite running.

Despite being a popular destination, Buljarica Beach is generally not crowded, particularly during off-peak months. Even during peak season, the beach offers ample space for visitors, although it can get quite busy with limited space, unless visitors choose to pay for a bed. The southern part of the beach is less frequented and offers a peaceful environment, although the presence of large, slippery rocks can make it slightly challenging to enter the water.

In terms of amenities, Buljarica Beach is well-equipped. There are several campsites and resorts near the beach, and the beach itself offers a parking area along the beach for a fee. Visitors also have the option to rent parasols or set up their own due to the spacious beach area. The beach is generally clean, with numerous litter bins available to maintain cleanliness.

To reach Buljarica Beach, there is a car entrance available for a fee. Despite some areas of the beach being less maintained, with occasional reports of litter, Buljarica Beach remains a highly recommended destination for campers due to the free space available for setting up umbrellas.
