Cable Beach

Located on the New Providence island of The Bahamas, Cable Beach is situated on the northern coast and is only 10 minutes away from Nassau city. With an impressive stretch of over 2 miles, the beach earned its name from being the site of the first submarine cable link. Though the sandy shores resemble a picturesque postcard, its status as the most popular beach in the area means that it can be quite crowded. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, such as snorkelling and renting jet-skis, where they may encounter stingrays and other aquatic wildlife. Additionally, there is a vibrant nightlife scene and casino located in the vicinity.
