Playa Carlos Rosario

Playa Carlos Rosario is a secluded beach located on the island of Culebra, Puerto Rico. It is known for its natural beauty and diverse marine life, making it a popular spot for snorkeling. The beach can be accessed by a trail from Flamenco Beach, which takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to traverse. Due to the challenging nature of the trail, some visitors may prefer to reach the beach by boat. The beach itself is a great spot to escape crowds, offering a quieter alternative to the more popular Flamenco Beach. It is particularly peaceful in the early morning hours, when visitors can often have the beach to themselves. However, the water clarity for snorkeling can be affected by the weather. Despite this, there is a large section to the right of the beach with an impressive reef, known for its color and diversity. It should be noted that there are no car access or parking facilities at Playa Carlos Rosario, and amenities are limited due to its secluded nature.
