Çeşmeönü, located in Kaleyaka Mahallesi, is a tranquil and naturally beautiful beach nestled near the city of Izmir. The beach is recognized for its affordability and scenic location, boasting a mountainous backdrop and a sandy shoreline. Its gradual depth makes it suitable for non-swimmers and children, offering the possibility for a pleasant swim even during unfavorable weather conditions. However, the beach is not very wide, and the close proximity of tables from beachside cafes can lead to a crowded atmosphere. The area is also home to Çeşmeönü Bungalov, a facility that offers a range of amenities. The rooms at Çeşmeönü Bungalov are equipped with features such as a bathroom mirror, toilet, shower, towel rack, and a hairdryer. The facility also has a reception area and a private beach, adding to its popularity among visitors. However, the beach faces a significant challenge in the form of waste management. Wastewater from nearby residences and workplaces, including toilet waste from a local mosque, flows directly into the sea due to an inadequate sewerage system. This issue threatens to mar the natural beauty of the beach and is in urgent need of addressing. Arriving at Çeşmeönü might present some difficulties due to parking constraints. Despite this, the serene and picturesque surroundings of the beach make the journey worthwhile.
