Chalok Lam Beach

Chalok Lam Beach is a picturesque beach located near Chaloklum, a small fishing village on Koh Phangan. Known for its cleanliness, it is one of the few beaches on the island with white and stable sand. The beach stretches mainly by the village, offering a calm and relaxed atmosphere. It is also one of the few beaches on the island where you can watch the sunsets, although other beaches like Mae Haad Beach are also popular for this activity. The beach is easily accessible, with free parking available for visitors. Visitors can enjoy a variety of amenities, including shaded areas for relaxation, deck chairs, and even a swing on a fallen palm tree. The beach is also known for its low water levels, which still allow for bathing, although the sand can feel a bit muddy and the water a bit green at times. The village of Chaloklum, located nearby, offers a variety of food options for visitors. On Sundays, a local market is organized near the pier in the central part of the village, offering a variety of local foods. To the west of the village, visitors can also explore the very picturesque Malibu Beach.
