Despite its beauty, the beach is typically not crowded, with most visitors opting for the main beach, Beach Tróia Galé, instead. To reach Praia da Costa da Galé, visitors must walk for about 15 minutes from the main road. The beach features a decent water depth, making it a popular choice for swimming. Parking is available and is typically free of charge. The beach is also known for its natural beauty. At low tide, small sandy islands form, adding to the beach's appeal. The beach stretches for 30 kilometers, offering plenty of space for walks, sunbathing, and shell collecting. Along the beach, visitors can view the villas of Tróia's billionaires, all of which are guarded by security personnel. Despite its length, there are no trash cans along the beach, so visitors are encouraged to pack out what they bring in.
