Crantock

Located in Cornwall, UK, Crantock beach is a vast expanse of golden sand. The southern end of the beach is protected by towering cliffs, offering a respite from the wind. The River Gannel flows into the beach's northern end, albeit at a reduced size from its previous state. The beach is encompassed by tall sand dunes, creating a vital habitat for wildlife called Rushy Green. Piper's Hole, a cave with carvings from over a century ago, is situated towards the beach's western side, with a significant gap in the cliffs leading to it. Seabirds can be found nesting in the cliffs around Piper's Hole. Crantock beach is a short 15-minute drive from Newquay and offers a tranquil getaway from the summer crowds.
