Cudmirrah Beach is a great spot for older children and is also a dog-friendly beach. However, the ocean seas and large expanse of marine coast bush require close supervision of younger children. The beach is often quiet with few people around, providing a peaceful environment. The sea at Cudmirrah Beach offers good spots for swimming and surfing. The beach is also a popular spot for fishing, with species such as sand whiting, bream, and Australian salmon often caught here. Beach worms can also be caught on this beach for bait.
