Dat Tham Beach

Dat Tham Beach is a well-maintained beach located in Côn Đảo, known for its beautiful corals situated just 100m away from the shore. This isolated beach is characterized by its peaceful ambiance and a few mangrove trees. However, it's noted that entering the ocean can be challenging. The beach is accessible through a trail in the forest from The National Park. Tickets can be purchased from the gate, after which visitors can park their bikes at the front end of the forest and walk down the trail to reach the beach. The trail is approximately 3km long one way, and it's recommended to be well-prepared with water and snacks. The ticket seller provides a map with a hotline, but it's important to note that phone signal may be lost upon entering the forest. Despite this, the walking path is clear and it's hard to get lost. In addition to the beach, the area also offers a beautiful waterfall and a small stream with drinkable water, making it a recommended spot for camping. However, visitors should be aware of potential encounters with dogs near the national park office on the way to the beach.
