Daymer Bay

Daymer Bay is a beach situated in Cornwall, UK. The beach features a substantial stretch of sand that is surrounded by sand dunes and sandhills, giving it a secluded atmosphere. It is located within the mouth of the Camel Estuary and has a gentle slope, making it safe for swimming. At the southern end of the beach, Braey Hill provides an excellent vantage point with views and is also home to St Enodoc Church, where former Poet Laureate John Betjeman is laid to rest. The beach is well-protected at high tide due to its backing by sand dunes and a golf course. Its shallow water makes it perfect for bathing. Dogs are permitted on the beach, and parking is available for 150 cars with a fee and no designated disabled spaces.
