Dendy Street Beach

Dendy Street Beach is a beautiful and spacious beach located near the Brighton Bathing Boxes. It is known for its cleanliness and dog-friendly southern part. The beach is also suitable for children, offering many places to explore. The beach is a popular tourist destination, but it also attracts locals who enjoy morning swims, runs, and walks. Despite its popularity, quieter spots can be found, particularly on the far side away from the busier areas. This side of the beach also conveniently features amenities such as bathrooms and trash cans. The beach is nestled between several notable areas including Green Point, Hollows Beach, the Brighton Gardens, and Brighton Beach. When the tide is out, it is possible to walk from one end of the beach to the other, crossing over into these neighboring beaches. Dendy Street Beach offers stunning backdrops for photography, including the city skyline, the bathing boxes, and the bay itself. The sunsets here are particularly spectacular. There is no dedicated car park at the beach, so visitors are advised to use off-street parking or take the local train. Alternatively, parking is available at Green Point, although this can be expensive.
