Playa el Violín

Playa el Violín is a beach located near Las Palmas Villas & Casitas. The beach is known for its crystal clear water and is considered safe for swimming due to its gentle currents. Despite its beauty, it is not typically crowded, especially during the low season in Huatulco. Access to the beach is via a trailhead located on the side of the road, where there is a pull-off on one of the corners. However, visitors should be prepared for a tough dirt path down to the beach, which takes less than 5 minutes to climb down and up. It is recommended to pack light for the journey. Unfortunately, some visitors have reported noticing small pieces of plastic suspended in the water while snorkeling, indicating a level of pollution. Despite this, the beach remains a popular choice for those seeking a tranquil and scenic spot to relax and swim.
