Playa Esteiro

Playa Esteiro is a small, tranquil beach situated in the main population center of Cabo de Cruz, in the southern part of the municipality of Boiro, located in the northern part of the Ría de Arousa. The area is home to a population of approximately 1,195 residents.

The beach is less than 200 meters long and is known for its unique natural features. When the tide is high, the beach has a small area of sand, but during the morning, the tide significantly recedes, revealing a larger sandy area. Despite its natural beauty, it's important to note that the environment around Playa Esteiro has suffered some degradation. Discharges from a treatment plant are released directly onto the beach through a pipeline, which has unfortunately affected the surrounding environment.

Despite its degradation, the beach retains its charm and continues to attract visitors due to its tranquility and natural beauty.
