Floreat Beach

Floreat Beach is a serene and quiet beach located along the Sunset Drive. It is known for its breathtaking views of the sea and clouds lining up during sunset, making it a perfect spot for evening hangouts. The beach is equipped with a spacious parking area and beautifully designed wooden stairs that lead visitors directly to the beach. The beach is also family-friendly, featuring a playground and a BBQ area for families with children. A unique wooden play sculpture, resembling a facehugger, is a notable feature of the playground. The beach also provides toilet, shower, BBQ, and table facilities for the convenience of its visitors. The beach is patrolled by friendly lifeguards, ensuring the safety of the beachgoers. Although the beach can have a bit of a shore dump, it is generally quieter and has more room than City Beach, with less size than Scarborough or Trigg. Dogs are allowed in the area further north at Peasholm. In addition to these amenities, there is a cafe located next to the beach access, adding to the overall experience of the visitors. Despite its popularity, Floreat Beach is known to be less crowded, providing a peaceful and enjoyable beach experience.
