French Leave Beach

French Leave Beach is a stunning beach located on the Atlantic side of Eleuthera Island. Known for its unique natural characteristics, the beach features aggressive waves, a deep and long stretch of sand, and an abundance of marine life. The sand on the beach has a distinctive pink hue, adding to its charm and appeal. The beach is home to a variety of marine life, including large stingrays and tropical fish, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling. Visitors are advised to bring their snorkel and sunscreen to fully enjoy their time at the beach. Despite its popularity, French Leave Beach is never crowded, especially in the early morning hours, offering a tranquil and serene experience to its visitors. The beach is accessible via a golf cart from the French Leave Resort, which is located on the Bight side of the island. The resort offers some services to its guests at the beach. However, it should be noted that direct access to the beach from the resort rooms is not available. While the beach is a favorite among visitors, it is important to respect the space and ensure that it remains a peaceful and enjoyable place for everyone. This includes keeping pets on a leash and being mindful of other visitors.
