Grande Plage de Carnac

Grande Plage de Carnac is a large, scenic beach located moments away from the main road. The beach is known for its clean and warm water, making it a popular spot for swimming. The beach's natural characteristics include a very sheltered water body with not much surf, making it perfect for smaller kids. However, there are some large patches of small stones that can be a bit hard on bare feet. The beach is equipped with a fair amount of amenities including toilet blocks spread along the top, which come in handy for visitors with young children. Parking at Grande Plage de Carnac is free and ample, with a fair amount of parking available nearby. The beach is also very close to the main street, making it easily accessible. Depending on the part of the beach visitors are on, they may not be that close to refreshments and/or toilets. The beach is generally quiet and not overly crowded, making it a very enjoyable place to spend the day in the sun.
