However, during the winter months, the playground equipment, beach chairs, showers, and changing rooms are removed due to the risk of storm surges. Also, the mini golf course, beach bar, and changing rooms/showers are not available during this period. Despite these seasonal changes, the beach remains open year-round. Strand Harlesiel can be reached by following the directions from Bahnhofstrasse in Carolinensiel towards Schleusenstrasse. The beach is a popular destination, but seating options to enjoy the view are limited, with most being paid Strandkörbe. Visitors can access the beach for free with the Nordsee-ServiceCard. For those without the card, admission fees apply during the peak season. The fee also includes access to the heated seawater outdoor pool. Holders of the Nordsee-ServiceCard can avail of reduced prices.
