Despite the availability of dog poop bags and bins, some pet owners neglect their responsibility to clean up after their pets, leaving waste behind on the beach and in the nearby bushes. This has led to calls for dogs to be banned from the beach to preserve its natural beauty. Additionally, the beach is often contaminated by water from the former wetlands behind it. Despite these issues, Howrah Beach remains a beloved spot for both locals and tourists, thanks to its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere.
