Playa Juan de Bolaños

Playa Juan de Bolaños is a beach located on the western side of the Dominican Republic, northwest of Monte Cristi. It is situated on the North West coast of the country and is easily accessible as it is located on a main road, just a few minutes away from the largest city in this part of the Dominican Republic. The beach is known for its calm and comfortable atmosphere, resembling a natural pool. Although it may not be the most aesthetically pleasing beach, it makes up for it with its convenience. However, it should be noted that public restrooms are not available at this location. The waters at Playa Juan de Bolaños are not very clear but are still good. The beach is shallow, averaging no more than 3 feet deep at its shore and remains that way for up to 20 or 30 meters offshore, making it an ideal location for children. The beach is also known for its cleanliness and is a popular spot to spend an afternoon. Despite its location near a major city, Playa Juan de Bolaños is known for its quietness. It is also located in front of the Marbella hotel, providing easy access for guests to cool off at any time.
