The largest beach in the area, Makria Ammos, is adorned with trees that provide an inviting atmosphere for camping. However, it's worth noting that the beach can become crowded during the weekends. Despite its popularity, the waters at Kali Limenes are surprisingly clean and serene, providing a refreshing experience for swimmers.

The beach is also known for its sandy terrain, making it an ideal location for children. However, visitors are advised to avoid the beach during August, as it tends to attract a large number of campers during this time. Despite the presence of oil tanks near the beach, the water remains crystal clear, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors.
