Kamenice

Situated along the Croatian town of Komiža, Kamenice beach boasts a picturesque location on the island of Vis. While the primary area of the beach comprises gravel and pebbles, visitors should exercise caution as sizeable rocks dot the shoreline. Strikingly, Kamenice beach is the solitary Adriatic coastal stretch formed by volcanic eruption, yielding numerous crevices that channel spring water to the beach. Local residents placed stone bowls to gather the clear water, which led to the naming of the beach as "Kamenica". In addition to its unique geological history, Kamenice beach provides various amenities including outdoor showers, rentable parasols, bars, and parking to enhance the visitors' experience.
