Plage de Kerpape is a serene and lesser-known beach located in the municipality of Larmor-Plage, within the Morbihan department of Brittany, France. It is recognized for its fine sand and tranquil atmosphere, offering a less crowded alternative to the more popular neighbouring beaches. The beach spans approximately 300 meters and is known for its beautiful coves and shiny sand. The continuous sea view and the sight of the masts of the sailing centre at the nearby Kerguélen beach contribute to the beach's allure.
The beach provides a few amenities, including toilets and showers, ensuring the comfort of the visitors. However, it is important to note that swimming is not supervised at this beach. Although the beach is accessible to people with reduced mobility, assistance might be required due to the presence of walkers and cyclists. Pets, specifically dogs, are not permitted on the beach, maintaining the cleanliness and tranquillity of the area.
Access to the beach is facilitated by a small parking area. Additional parking is available along the roadside, and there is also a free parking area located 100 meters before reaching the beach. To reach Plage de Kerpape, visitors can follow the D152 road and then turn right towards Kerpape. Despite its charming setting and favourable weather, the beach is not typically crowded, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment.
