Kopmuş Plajı

Kopmuş Plajı, also known as the 'broken beach', is located approximately 10 km from the center of Hopa, on the Kemalpasa side. The beach is characterized by its pebble and stone terrain, as opposed to the typical sandy beaches. This unique characteristic contributes to the cleanliness of the water, which is often clear and clean, a rarity for the Black Sea shores. The beach deepens at a distance of about 3-5 meters from the shore, providing an interesting swimming experience where one can often find themselves swimming alongside fish.

The beach offers several amenities for visitors. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent, although visitors are also welcome to bring their own. There is a shower area with a constant flow of ice-cold water, perfect for cooling off after a swim. For those looking to extend their stay, there is a camping area and tent area available. The beach also features a special place and a masjid for ablution.

Parking at Kopmuş Plajı is free and easily accessible, making it a convenient destination for those traveling by car. The beach is also known for its reasonable prices, with a restaurant on-site offering a variety of food options. Despite its amenities and unique natural characteristics, the beach is not typically crowded, offering a serene and peaceful environment for visitors.
