Kouzounos Beach

Kouzounos Beach, often referred to as Port Spetsopoula, is located in Attica, Greece, specifically on the island of Spetses. It is situated approximately 1.5 km away from Agia Marina and can be reached by a small path, though the access can be somewhat challenging due to the proximity of the houses to the sea.

The beach is characterized by its serene and secluded atmosphere, making it a preferred spot for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. Its beauty is enhanced by the picturesque views of Spetsopoula Island, especially when observed from beneath the pine trees or from the far edge of the beach. One of the primary issues is the presence of small plastic pieces in the water, which are believed to be from a nearby garbage fill. In addition, the beach is quite narrow, which may limit comfort for some visitors.

Despite being a simple and plain beach, Kouzounos Beach is popular among locals, as evidenced by the number of bikes and motorcycles typically parked in the area. However, it lacks amenities such as sun loungers and water sports equipment.

In terms of accessibility, Kouzounos Beach is not a regular stop on the bus route, so visitors traveling by bus may have to request an extra stop. Alternatively, it is a 20-minute walk from Agia Marina. Despite these potential challenges, the beach's natural beauty and tranquility make it a worthwhile destination.
