Kumbaba Plajı boasts a variety of amenities for the convenience of its visitors. These include sun loungers, umbrellas, facilities for camping with tents and caravans, and designated areas for barbecuing. Additionally, it offers facilities such as changing rooms, showers, toilets, and parking. However, it should be noted that an entrance fee is required to access the beach, and additional fees may apply for the use of certain facilities.
Visitors can reach Kumbaba Plajı by taking the number 139 bus from Şile. Alternatively, driving is an option, with parking available at the beach. For a more scenic route, visitors can take a boat and walk along a road adorned with sand lilies.
There are plans to transform Kumbaba Plajı into a "Millet Bahçesi" (People's Park) under a project by the Housing Development Administration of Turkey (TOKİ). This project aims to develop social facilities, recreational areas, and general infrastructure within the beach area. As part of this project, the construction of a workshop, situated southeast of Kumbaba Plajı, is also planned. The project, however, has received a warning from the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ), highlighting the need to adhere to certain regulations to preserve the surrounding areas.
