Plage de la Falaise is a charming beach nestled in the town of Guidel, in the Morbihan department of the Brittany region in France. This beach is positioned on the ocean side and serves as an extension of the Bas Pouldu beach. The beach's natural characteristics are marked by its fine pebbles, which provide a unique experience compared to the conventional sandy beach. It is also recognized as a popular spot for clam collecting. Despite its allure, visitors are advised to exercise caution due to the presence of jellyfish in the waters. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for individuals with reduced mobility due to the stairway access. There are two complimentary parking areas on either side of the main access road, making it convenient for visitors driving in. Amenities at Plage de la Falaise include showers and toilets, which are operational during the summer season. The beach is also under the surveillance of the national police, ensuring the safety and security of visitors. Despite its charm and amenities, Plage de la Falaise is not usually overcrowded. Its serene and pleasant atmosphere makes it an ideal location for those planning a longer stay. However, potential visitors should note that swimming may not be possible during low tide due to the beach's natural features.
