LaemThong Bay

LaemThong Bay is a popular beach destination that has seen a significant increase in visitor numbers in recent years. The beach is characterized by its sandy shores, which unfortunately have been impacted by littering, particularly plastic waste. Despite this, the beach continues to attract a large number of tourists, many of whom arrive via speed boats. The bay is not particularly known for its scuba diving opportunities. The water depth ranges between 6 and 9 meters, but visibility is often limited to around 5 meters. This is due to the high volume of jet skis and ferry boats that cross the bay, often heading to destinations such as Pattaya. However, some visitors still enjoy scuba diving in the area, despite the less than ideal conditions. The beach's natural beauty and recreational opportunities continue to draw in crowds, but visitors should be prepared for the potential slipperiness of the terrain.
