Lakdayan Beach is a tranquil beach located near Coron Town and the local airport. The beach is known for its fine sand and clear water, with some sea grass present. The journey to the beach offers a scenic drive, adding to the overall experience of visiting Lakdayan Beach.
To reach the beach from Coron Town or the airport, visitors need to turn right at the sign on the roadside that says La Spiaggia. This will lead straight to the beach. However, the road is partially closed past the airport, so visitors are advised to ask guards for directions.
The beach is also accessible through the Umang Resort for a small fee. This is one of the few beaches in Busuanga and is a popular spot for laying down on low tide and swimming on high tide.
One unique feature of Lakdayan Beach is the shallow waters to the left of the beach, which allow visitors to cross to a nearby island. However, it is recommended to check the tide before attempting this.
Despite its natural beauty, Lakdayan Beach is relatively small and can be difficult to locate. Some visitors have also reported the presence of sea weeds 2 meters past the shore.
