Playa Las Palmas

Playa Las Palmas is a beach known for its incredible sunsets, often described as some of the best. The beach is clean and quiet, particularly around sunset time. However, the sand is not very soft and due to tide issues, the beach is not suitable for swimming. The waves at Playa Las Palmas are large and the current is strong, making it impossible to even walk in the water. The shore is also extremely steep. Despite these conditions, some visitors have reported being able to swim there without any problems, although caution is advised. The water is notably warm in January, warmer than other surrounding beaches.

One of the appealing aspects of Playa Las Palmas is its lack of crowds. The beach is large and often not heavily populated. Its location is convenient for some visitors, being close to certain accommodations. However, the surrounding area is described as a run-down ghost town, which some might not find comfortable after dark. Despite this, the beach itself maintains its beauty and cleanliness.
