It also offers shade structures for lounging, although the beach area is not very sandy and most visitors prefer to sit on the grass. It is recommended to bring a hammock and beach chairs for comfort. One of the natural characteristics of Playa Los Machos is the presence of sea vegetation, including sargassum seaweed, which can sometimes reach up to the knees. This seaweed is particularly noticeable after the rain and can give off a strong smell. Despite this, the beach offers good waves for swimming. Visitors are advised to bring sandals or slides to walk over the sea vegetation. The beach is poorly lit at night, making it pitch black. There are no restroom facilities on the beach, except for a porta-potty, so visitors are advised to use a restroom before their visit.
