Playa de Marfolin

Playa de Marfolin is a picturesque beach nestled in the town of El Cotillo, within the municipality of La Oliva, on the island of Fuerteventura. The beach boasts an impressive length of 950 meters and a width of 30 meters. It is highly appreciated for its fine golden sand, shallow water, calm and clear sea, even when surrounding waters are rough. Its natural beauty is further enhanced by a surrounding reef that serves as a protective barrier. Despite its considerable popularity among naturists, families, and local residents, it maintains a tranquil atmosphere with a moderate level of occupancy, ensuring plenty of space for all visitors.

The beach is easily accessible by foot, car, or bus, owing to its proximity to the town. Parking is convenient, simplifying the visit for those arriving by car. Despite not having a lifeguard or first aid station, it offers several amenities including toilets, showers, and disabled access. The beach, however, lacks facilities directly on it. For refreshments and meals, visitors can enjoy a variety of dishes offered by local restaurants and bars in the nearby town.

While the beach is part of the urban landscape and attracts visitors year-round, it is particularly favored in the summer by families. The area experiences little wind, although it can get quite windy at times.
