The cleanliness of the bay is maintained by strong surface and bottom currents that occur in February, April, and the second half of July. These currents help keep the oxygen levels balanced, thereby supporting the diverse underwater ecosystem.
The natural landscape of Mavi Saroz is characterized by a stunning bay and a stony seabed that is home to sea urchins up to 4-5 meters deep. Beyond this point, the seabed becomes sandy, providing a comfortable area for swimmers. The beach is also home to a variety of fish species, including black goz, gray mullet, sea bream, and garfish, making it a favorable spot for fishing and diving enthusiasts.
Mavi Saroz offers a unique experience for visitors seeking a more authentic beach experience. Visitors are therefore advised to come prepared for these conditions. There are sun loungers on-site, but these are exclusively for residents of the local holiday site, and signs indicate that these are not for use by visitors. However, visitors can bring their own chairs and find space in the available areas after passing these sun loungers.
Access to the beach is possible via an alternative route as the Blue Saroz holiday site does not permit entry to non-residents. Despite the lack of certain facilities, Mavi Saroz remains a popular destination due to its natural beauty and clean waters. In order to maintain the cleanliness of the beach, visitors are encouraged to respect the natural environment and leave no trace of their visit.
