McBrides Beach is a mesmerizing and secluded beach located in the northern part of Booti Booti National Park at Cape Hawke in Forster. The walk from the carpark to the beach is approximately eight minutes.
The beach is not patrolled, and there is no 4WD access. Camping is also not permitted on the beach. Visitors can swim in the rock area on the south end of the beach or on the beach itself. The north end of the beach features a small cave. Wildlife, such as goannas and occasionally snakes, can be spotted on the beach.
Despite its beauty, McBrides Beach is not without its challenges. The return walk from the beach can be steep and is considered a grade 3 bushwalk. However, the effort is well worth it for the chance to experience the beauty and tranquility of this secluded beach.
