Playa Mera

Playa Mera is a popular tourist attraction located in Galicia. Known for its clean environment, the beach features clear, often cool water and perfect sand. Over the years, it has become a favored spot for summer holidays, particularly in the months of July and August when it tends to be crowded.

The beach is easily accessible by foot, making it convenient for tourists to explore the area. Parking is generally good, although availability may vary depending on the time of visit. A notable feature of Playa Mera is its proximity to another beach, Espiñeiro, which is just a 5-minute promenade walk away. Espiñeiro is located on the other side of the rocks at the end of Playa Mera, near a white house. This beach tends to be less crowded.

Both Playa Mera and Espiñeiro have basic amenities for visitors. There is a port-a-potty at the entrance of each beach, and a snack stand, although it is not always open. The port-a-potty for Playa Mera is conveniently located in front of a supermarket, a street behind at the far right end of the beach.
