Another beach called Kakia Skala is located 1.5km away from Meri Pigadi. It shares similar natural characteristics with Meri Pigadi, including deep blue waters and fine pebbles, but it is not as accessible due to the presence of rocky cliffs.
Unfortunately, there is no designated parking area at Meri Pigadi, which may pose a challenge for visitors planning to arrive by car. Despite this inconvenience, the beach's natural beauty and relative tranquility make it a worthwhile destination for those visiting Crete.
